Intensity Guide
Workflow Tips
- Start at 30% intensity on a new LUT โ then push toward your creative vision from there.
- Always check skin tones at your chosen intensity. Oversaturated skin is the most common LUT mistake.
- Teal & Orange looks most natural between 20โ45%. Above 60% it reads as intentional stylisation.
- For documentary work, Matte Fade and Warm Film at 25โ40% give an authentic look without feeling "graded."
- High Contrast and Bleach Bypass suit narrative and music video โ push them as hard as the scene allows.
- LUTs designed for log footage (S-Log, C-Log) will look wrong on already-corrected or Rec.709 clips. Always convert first.
