AI in Radio: Voice Tracking and Scheduling
This page maps where AI tools sit in radio: spoken links between songs, music scheduling and AI co-hosts. It is for programmers, engineers and producers who already run a station. By the end you will know which job each tool does, which claims we checked against pages, and which makers' own pages we could not open. Reviewed 2026-10-08.

What is different about professional use
Creator tools are judged on one result. Professional tools sit inside a chain of people and contracts, so four questions decide whether a tool is usable. This strand is for: Programme directors, radio engineers, producers and station managers.
Does it work inside your automation system?
Radio runs on a playout and scheduling system. A tool that does not sit inside it is another thing to babysit. ENCO's page describes an add-on to its own automation system, so ask each maker which systems it supports.
Does a person approve what goes to air?
The pages we read describe copy generated ahead of airtime and, in one case, just before playout. None says whether anyone reviews it. Decide who does before you switch it on.
Do listeners know?
Futuri says its own research found that listeners want to be told when AI is used. We saw that claim only in search summaries, so treat it as a vendor claim and read the labelling guide for the rules that apply to you.
Whose voice is it?
A pre-set synthetic voice and a cloned voice carry different consent questions. ENCO's page mentions both.

AI Voice Tracking and Scheduling for Radio: ENCO aiTrack, RCSAI and AI Co-Hosts
What ENCO and RCS state about AI voice tracks and scheduling, and how to trial them.
Experimental. Not tested by us.
Tools, with what the makers state
Every tool on this page is listed as not tested by us. Several are sold by contract or as hardware, and we do not contact vendors for demonstrations. The statements below come from the maker's own page where the last column shows a date. The creator-level tools and a wider table are on the AI Tools for Creative Work hub.
| Tool | Tier | Where it runs | Formats and platforms | Checked against maker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ENCO aiTrack (contract product) ENCO's page says aiTrack lets stations build generative copy insertions with automated voice tracks into playlists well in advance of airtime, mixes live talent with AI content, and can use pre-set voice types or custom cloned voices. It says dynamic content insertion for its DAD automation system was still to come. The page names no voice engine, no languages and no human review step. Radio World reports a 2025 NAB Best of Show award and a 2024 preview that calls aiTrack a tool using generative AI models and synthetic speech engines. | Studio | Not checked | Not checked | 2026-10-09 |
| RCS RCSAI in SelectorCloud (Announced, not yet released, contract product) Announced for debut at IBC2026. A trade article of 2 September 2026 says it lets programmers enter scheduling requests in natural language and is the first application on RCS Intelligence. No release date or price is stated, so check that it has shipped. RCS's own page was unreachable. | Studio | Cloud, upload required | Not checked | Not yet |
| Futuri CoHostAI (contract product) Seen only in search summaries, which describe it as letting a human host and an AI personality interact on air in 2024. No page was read. | Studio | Not checked | Not checked | Not yet |

These are known to belong in this strand and are missing from it:
- Radio.Cloud Voicetrack.ai, nextKast onAir and WinMedia WinAI
- WideOrbit WO Aurora, whose AI is described as data and integrations
- Futuri AudioAI and CallerAI, and the study Futuri cites, whose pages returned 403 or 429
- RCS's own page, which returned 403
- AI logging, transcription and compliance for radio
- Radio audio processing from Omnia and Orban, which may not use AI
Consent, labelling and rights
Voice reconstruction and visual dubbing touch a performer's voice or face, and delivery contracts decide which repairs a buyer accepts. Read AI Voice Cloning: Consent, Contracts, and Disclosure and When to Label Content as AI-Made: Platform Rules and Audience Trust first. The union's own summary of its tentative 2026 TV/Theatrical agreement is covered in Digital Replicas and Synthetics. We have not read the full contract or the European Union labelling rules in their primary form, so this strand does not summarise them beyond that guide.

Checked 2026-10-08. We opened the maker's own page for 1 of 3 tools on this strand. We tested none of them. We record no prices, so each tier is our estimate.
- ENCO aiTrack. The maker's own page, read on 2026-10-09.
These tools are described from trade coverage because the maker's page was unreachable or did not describe the product: RCS RCSAI in SelectorCloud, Futuri CoHostAI. Their rows say "Not yet" under "Checked against maker", and each guide names the trade source it used.
